OrderThe collaborative artistic practice of the Honey-Suckle Company (founded in Berlin in 1995) includes photographs, video works, installations, but also fashion collections, performances and concerts in various constellations. As part of the Berlin underground scene of the 1990s, the group tested alternative lifestyles and forms of community in which rites, processions, and ceremonies take on a special significance.
The photograph and Jahresgabe Ohne Worte (Without Words) was created in the sight of the installation rosa sprich (2019) shown as part of the exhibition GROUPS, which is based in part on the work Eswerde (2003). As a kind of multi-sensory memory space, fabrics, the instrument Hurdy- Gurdy, self-playing harps, video documentations of performances, excerpts from the collection So Last Season, photographs but also recent sculptures were combined here to form a complete work.
