OrderThe work of Catherine Sullivan demonstrates the synergy of a dual artistic training: born in Los Angeles in 1968, the artist first studied acting and directing and then switched to the visual arts. Since 1997, Sullivan has been writing and directing plays for the art context and creating video films and installations whose concepts also follow the dramaturgy of a performed play. The artist uses props and scenery from film sets as references, which she stages together with contextual sculptural interventions in the exhibition spaces of the Salve Hospes house to create a set-like installation.
