The German filmmaker Ute Adamczewski and Ukrainian artist Dana Kavelina present with their contributions the built environment as a carrier of trauma and memory. Adamczewski devotes her attention to sites of violence in the early phase of National Socialism and explores how we relate to them today. Kavelina traces the role of monuments in Ukraine in the presence of Russian aggression.
The event will be held in German.
